The role of the Central Alabama Community College (CACC) Learning Resource Center (LRC) is to support the academic and career/technical curriculum needs of faculty and students through the provision of free print and electronic quality resources. We also provide materials to address the social, cultural, and moral growth of our college and community stakeholders.
The Learning Resource Center (LRC) currently has a physical location in Alexander City (AC) and Childersburg (CB). Please view our hours on the calendar below. The AC location is temporarily located in the bottom of the Business Science building. The CB location is located in Building A. Both AC and CB locations have tables available for study. Feel free to bring your drinks and food and come study for class! For Prattville and Talladega, virtual library resources are available as well as limited laptop check out.
*** If you need textbooks, please visit the bookstore in the HEA building on Alexander City campus or visit the Barnes and Noble CACC website.
*** The library helps coordinate athlete scholarship books and dual tech books. If you are not one of these students, visit the bookstore to learn how to get your textbooks.
*** Staff will respond within 24 hours to emails, messages, and phone calls Monday - Thursday.
*** Requests submitted after 11:30am on Fridays will be responded to by Monday when the library re-opens.
